カタカナ Literary Work (Draft)

This is a fake advertising ad for a fake computer company, Ishida. It is still a work in progress, but it will look something like this (with color added later, and probably more details).

  1. すごいですね!I get most of your use of katakana(emphasis, loan words), but I am not sure why there is an "イ"in front of 6600. Is that a series number like i6600 series?

  2. すごいですね。I have a question here. What do you mean by イシダ会社?

  3. ちょっとよめるむずかしい。でも、はいくよりおもしろい。

  4. イシダ会社 is just the name of the company. I just picked a random Japanese name, and made it into Katakana, to emphasize the fact that comany names are written in Katakana. The イ6600 was supposed to be the model name, but I need to double check whether katakana is actually used for that.

As for legibility, I'll work on it. This is just a pencil sketch; I want to add color and what not to the final product.

  6. The mix of Katakana, Hiragana, and Kanji looks very authentic. The mascot also adds a lot to the style. Could be right out of 秋葉原(あきはばら)。すごいですね。

  7. 10,000円だけ?? Of course, I trust that turtle completely. I liked the combined usage of katakana with your bold/bubble emphasizing. Very effective.
